Well, over the years, the standard sized SD memory card just did not do, and we folks wanted something smaller – and hence heralded the birth of the microSD memory card which is as small, or even smaller for some of us, than the size of our fingernail.

Hyunda A7We’ve seen more then our share of cheap knockoff Android tablets but this one has fairly decent hardware. Most likely this is similar to those knockoffs and actually doesn’t have any affiliation with Hyundai the car company.

What you do get though for a quick $110 is a 7″ 480 x 800 resolution Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet. The screen is capacitive touch and has 5-point multi-touch. Read on for more details.

TomTom Go LiveGPS maker TomTom said Tuesday that a leap year bug was to blame for some of its GPS devices that could no longer receive a GPS signal.

TomTom also said that it had issued a fix for the devices, which customers can download via its MyTomTom application, as described by its support page. Affected devices include the Start 20/25, Via 120/125, Via LIVE 120/125, GO LIVE 820/825, and GO LIVE 1000/1005/1005 World. Other devices are not affected, TomTom said.

However, TomTom also warned that the first GPS fix after applying the update could take several minutes to acquire. As might be expected, the device needs to have a clear view of the sky.
